The structure of an atom is in the middle of an atom has the neutron (nucleus) which has no charge around the neutron is the protons which has a positive charge and the ones that orbit around the atom is the electrons which has a negative charge in it.  The number of protons is call the Atomic Number. Protons have a relative charge of +1 and the electron have a relative charge of -1.

Cloud [144]

Answer:

340 m/s

Solution:

As per the question;

Time, t = 3.0 s

Total distance moved by the ship, d = 10,500 km

The increase in speed, v = 340 m/s

Now,

To calculate the U.S.S Burger's change in speed, \Delta V:

The final velocity is given by:

v_{f} = 340 + v_{i}                      (1)

where

v_{f} = final\ velocity

v_{i} = initial\ velocity

Also, the change in velocity is given by:

\Delta v = v_{f} - v_{i}                    (2)

Now, from eqn (1) and (2):

\Delta = 340 + v_{i} - v_{i} = 340\ m/s

Why do we add alcohol/ethanol to the leaf once it is boiled?
hichkok12 [17]

Answer:

Complete answer: We boil the leaf in alcohol when we are checking it for starch to eradicate chlorophyll, which is the green pigment present in leaves. ... Hence to dissolve the chlorophyll or the green pigment present in the leaf we boil the leaf in alcohol when we are testing it for starch.

Hope this helps! Have a great day!

What is the formula for the moment of inertia of the person/single particle rotating in a circle? (Give these values with a subs
Ann [662]

Moment of inertia of single particle rotating in circle is I1 = 1/2 (m*r^2)

The value of the moment of inertia when the person is on the edge of the merry-go-round is I2=1/3 (m*L^2)

Moment of Inertia refers to:

  • the quantity expressed by the body resisting angular acceleration.
  • It the sum of the product of the mass of every particle with its square of a distance from the axis of rotation.

The moment of inertia of single particle rotating in a circle I1 = 1/2 (m*r^2)

here We note that the,

In the formula, r being the distance from the point particle to the axis of rotation and m being the mass of disk.

The value of the moment of inertia when the person is on the edge of the merry-go-round is determined with parallel-axis theorem:

I(edge) = I (center of mass) + md^2

d be the distance from an axis through the object’s center of mass to a new axis.

I2(edge) = 1/3 (m*L^2)

The specific heat capacity of sea water is 4100 J/Kg°C and the boiling point of 100.6 °C. (i) Calculate the energy required to r
maw [93]

Answer:

334.314 (kJ)

Explanation:

1) the formula for the required energy is: Q=c*m(Bp-t), where c - 4100 J/kg*C; m - 0.9 kg; Bp - 100.6 C; t - 10 C.

2) according to the formula above:

Q=4100*0.9*(100.6-10)=41*9*906=334314 (J).
