NEED HELP ASAP!!!!!  What is theoretical probability and experimental probability?
SVETLANKA909090 [29]

On the basis of mathematical theory, the chance of occurrence of any event is called theoretical probability.

For example if we toss a coin then the probability of a head and a tail is half half i.e 0.5.

But the probability  calculated by repeated experiments and examine the outcomes are called experimental probability.

For example if we toss a coin 20 times and got 9 times head and 11 times head then the probabilities are given by

P(\text{head})= \frac{9}{20} \\
\\
P(\text{head})= \frac{11}{20}

These probabilities are different what we got in case of theoretical probabilities.

A sporting goods company near the beach rents bicycles for $10 plus &5 per hour. Write an equation in
rewona [7]

Answer:

It will cost Emily $40 to rent the bike for 6 hours.

Step-by-step explanation:

SOLUTION:

Total cost equals = (cost per hour × number of hours) + initial bike cost.

Let, y be total cost and x = renting a bicycle for x hours.

y=5x+10

To calculate Emily's cost for 6 hours, let x=6.

y=5(6)+10

y=30+10

y=40

It will cost Emily $40 to rent the bike for 6 hours.

2(3c+6)+7-5*1+2-1+9c=69+4c+5c
stich3 [128]

Answer:

c = 9

Step-by-step explanation:

2(3c+6)+7−5×1+2−1+9c=69+4c+5c

Add 12 and 7 to get 19.

6c+19−5×1+2−1+9c=69+4c+5c

Multiply 5 and 1 to get 5.

6c+19−5+2−1+9c=69+4c+5c

Subtract 5 from 19 to get 14.

6c+14+2−1+9c=69+4c+5c

Add 14 and 2 to get 16.

6c+16−1+9c=69+4c+5c

Subtract 1 from 16 to get 15.

6c+15+9c=69+4c+5c

Combine 6c and 9c to get 15c.

15c+15=69+4c+5c

Combine 4c and 5c to get 9c.

15c+15=69+9c

Subtract 9c from both sides.

15c+15−9c=69

Combine 15c and −9c to get 6c.

6c+15=69

Subtract 15 from both sides.

6c=69−15

Subtract 15 from 69 to get 54.

6c=54

Divide both sides by 6.

c = 54/6

Divide :)

c = 9
