Answer:

1/12

Step-by-step explanation:

1/3 - 1/4 can't be subtracted, so you have to find the least common multiple between 3 and 4, which is 12. When you change the denominators to 12, you have to multiply the numerator by the number needed to multiply with the denominator to make 12. So 1/3 would become 4/12, because 3 x 4 is 12 and 1/4 would become 3/12, because 4 x 3 is 12.

4/12 - 3/12 = 1/12

DochEvi [55]

Answer:

The height of tree house is 70.71 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that A 100-foot rope from the top of a tree house to the ground forms a 45∘ angle of elevation from the ground

Refer the attached figure

Length of rope AC = Hypotenuse =100 feet

The top of a tree house to the ground forms a 45∘ angle of elevation from the ground =\angle ACB = 45^{\circ}

We are supposed to find the height of tree house i.e.AB = Perpendicular

So, Using trigonometric ratio

Sin \theta = \frac{perpendicular}{Hypotenuse}\\Sin 45= \frac{AB}{AC}\\\frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}=\frac{AB}{100}\\100 \times \frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}=AB\\70.71=AB

Hence The height of tree house is 70.71 feet

I don't understand geometry at all please help me.
lukranit [14]

I know its one of the congruent ones, as one is for sure a 90 degree angle, on top of an 180 degree angle, which by law of supplementary angles makes the other one 90 degrees. Not sure on the postulate, maybe someone else can help with that.

Point Q was rotated by -150° (the center of rotation is indicated).
DedPeter [7]

Answer:It’s A

Step-by-step explanation: the reason being is look from the origin(0,0) to the blue dot there is a circle of you think about try to imagine that circle crossing the whole place it couldn’t be C or D because that’s less than the imaginary circle and also 150 is close to 180. 180 is fully behind and A is close to 180 than B. Also remember, negative degrees is only clockwise and positive degrees are COUNTER. Hope it helps especially on the exam it also took me a bit to understand but it makes sense now.
