Answer:

31st term = 84

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

204, 200,196,...

Find:

31st term

Computation:

204, 200,196,...

First term a = 204

Difference d = a3 - a2

Difference d = 196 - 200

Difference d = -4

An = a + (n-1)d

A31 = 204 + (31-1)(-4)

A31 = 204 - 120

A31 = 84

Write a polynomial function with zeros -3,5,8
klemol [59]

Answer:

x^3-10x^2+x+120

Step-by-step explanation:

Assuming you mean roots -3, 5, 8

These happen when we have (x+3)(x-5)(x-8)=0

Expand this

(x^2-2x-15)(x-8)=0

=x^3-2x^2-15x-8x^2+16x+120

=x^3-10x^2+x+120

The game that is used for the scenario above in terms of fair play is using a balloon. Here, the player will hit the balloon.

What is the scenario under the balloon game?

The rule of play are:

This is a classic game with simple rules which are:

 • Each player to hit the balloon up and it bonce into the air but when one should not allow it to touch the ground.,
 • Players would be tied together in twos and they will juggle a lot of balloon and it have to be more than 1 balloon with one of their hands tied to their back.

A scenario of the worksheet game whose expected value is 0 is given below:

Assume that it costs about $1 for a player to play the billon game and as such, if the player hits a balloon, they will be given $3. what can you say. Can you say that it this game is fair or not? and who has the biggest advantage.

Solution

Note that a game is ”fair” if the expected value is said to be 0. When a player is said to hits a balloon, their net profit often increase by $4. So when the player do not hit a balloon, it drops to $1.

(4)(0.313) + (-1)(0.313)

= 0.939 approximately

Thus, the expected value is $0.939 which tells that the game is fair.

Am trying to find the value of r
1/r + 2/1-r = 4/r^2
Mashcka [7]
1/r + 2/1-r = 4/r^2

1-r+2r/r(1-r)=4/r^2
(1+r)/r(1-r)=4/r^2 cancle r both side

1+r/1-r=4/r

cross multiply
r+r^2=4-4r
r^2+4r+r-4=0
r^2+5r-4=0
r^2+4r+r-4=0
solve it for r factor it...

The conservation club has 32 members. There are 18 girls in the club.
guapka [62]
The amount of girls in the club is 18 out of the 32 members.
To find the amount of boys there, we subtract 18 out of 32
32 - 18 = 14
so there are 14 boys in the club

Now to find the ratio of girls to boys...
18/14
simplified to 9/7 (option D.)

Hope this helps :)
