Your answer should be 486 inches, you do 9x9 to find the area of one of the faces, and because there is 6 faces, you multiply that answer (81) to get 486

babymother [125]

Answer:

Your question was a bit confusing so I found another related question. You can reference it with your own details.

A vendor bought 10 dozen eggs at the rate of Rs 22 per dozen. Six of the eggs were rotten. He sold the remaining eggs at the rate of Rs 2.50 per egg . Find his profit or loss

Vendor bought 10 dozen eggs which means the vendor bought:

= 10 * 12 eggs

= 120 eggs

6 were rotten and he sold the rest for Rs. 2.50 per egg.

= (120 - 6) * 2.5

= Rs. 285

The amount he spent on the eggs was:

= 10 dozen * 22

= Rs. 220

Profit = 285 - 220

= Rs. 65

Suppose 80% of people enjoy swimming. Suppose 70% of people enjoy running.
Ede4ka [16]

Answer:

95%

Step-by-step explanation:

In this case we can apply a formula that tells us that:

# (AUB) = #A + #B - #AnB

Where A would be the ones who enjoy swimming and B would be the ones who enjoy running. AnB is the intersection of both sets, that is, those who enjoy doing both things, these values we have, if we replace them we have left:

#(AUB) = 80% + 70% - 55%

#(AUB) = 95%

Which means that 95% of people enjoy either swimming or running

We know that that the water level is 3 feet below your deck. (-3)
When the tide goes out, the water level lowers 1 foot. (-1)
A storm surge comes in, the water level rises 2 feet. (+2)

New water level: -3-1+2= -4+2= -2
The new water level is 2 feet below the dock.

Which expression is equivalent to 2x^2+2x-4/2x^2-4x+2
lord [1]
You need to factor the numerator and denominator...

(2x^2+4x-2x-4)/(2x^2-2x-2x+2)

(2x(x+2)-2(x+2))/(2x(x-1)-2(x-1))

((2x-2)(x+2))/((2x-2)(x-1))  so the (2x-2)s cancel out leaving

(x+2)/(x-1)
