Chemistry

Answer:

3.44 × 10²⁴ atoms of oxygen

Explanation:

Step 1: Calculate the moles corresponding to 163 g of Al₂(SO₄)₃

The molar mass of Al₂(SO₄)₃ is 342.15 g/mol.

163 g × 1 mol/342.15 g = 0.476 mol

Step 2: Calculate the molecules in 0.476 moles of Al₂(SO₄)₃

We will use Avogadro's number: there are 6.02 × 10²³ molecules of Al₂(SO₄)₃ in 1 mole of Al₂(SO₄)₃.

0.476 mol × 6.02 × 10²³ molecules/1 mol = 2.87 × 10²³ molecules

Step 3: Calculate the atoms of O in 2.87 × 10²³ molecules of Al₂(SO₄)₃

According to the chemical equation, the molar ratio of Al₂(SO₄)₃ to O is 1:12. The atoms of O are 12/1 × 2.87 × 10²³ = 3.44 × 10²⁴.

How does knowing the reactants and products help you classify a chemical reaction? Write a short paragraph explaining.
Maurinko [17]
Answer:

This is wirtten all in one paragraph, because that is what the question asks.

There are five main type of reactions under which you can classify most chemical reactions. Those are: combination (also known as shythesis), decomposition, combustion, single replacement and double replacement. You know that it is a synthesis (combination) reactions when there are two reactants and one single product (the two reactants are combined to form one single product). When you have one single reactant and two or more products, it is a decomposition reaction (the one reactant decomposed). When oxygen is one of the reactants the reaction is a combustion. When ions are exchanged you are in front of replacement reactions: if it is one ion which is exchanged it is single replacement, and if there are two reactants and two products in which the ions are exchanged, then it is a double replacement reaction.

Bogdan [553]
Questions:

The questions or computes to do are:

a- a massa, em kg, de cada placa de alumínio;

b- a quantidade mínima de viagens necessárias para que apenas um veículo de transporte entregue o material solicitado ao cliente.

Dado: densidade do alumínio = 2,7 g/cm3

Answer:

a) mass in kg of every aluminum plate

Dimensions of every aluminum plate:
2 M X 50 Cm X 2cm

Volume: 200 cm * 50 cm * 2 cm = 20,000 cm^3

Mass:

density = mass / volume => mass = density * volume = 2.7 g/cm^3 * 20,000 cm^3 = 54,000 g = 54 kg.

Answer: the mass of everyplate of aluminum is 54 kg.

b) number of travels required for one truck deliver all the material:

number of travels = amount requested / amount that a truck can deliver in one travel.

amount requested: 100 plates

mass of 100 plates = 100 plates * 54 kg / plate = 5,400 kg

limit of transport per travel: 3 tons = 3,000 kg

number of travels = 5,400 kg / 3,000 kg/travel = 1.8 travels => 2 travels.

Answer: at least 2 travels.

which means it contains two or more different chemicals.

Is Sodium Hydroxide an element, mixture, or compound?

An example would be placing sodium (Na) in water (H2O). Sodium creates a new chemical bond producing a new substance with new physical and chemical properties known as sodium hydroxide (NaOH). So, if a new chemical formula must be written after two or more substances combine it is not a mixture.

Which of the following has the largest atomic radius: F-, F, CL-, or CL?
Anna007 [38]
As you go down the table, more electron shells are added to make the radius larger, but as you go to the right, the protons' attraction increases so the radius actually shrinks. Therefore, according to the trend, Cl has a larger radius because it is lower in the table.

Answer: CL has a larger Atomic Radius.
