Answer:

<em>u=6</em>

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the 45°-45°-90° triangle theorem:

hypotenuse=\sqrt{2}*leg

Insert the values:

6\sqrt{2} =\sqrt{2}*u

Solve for u. Divide both sides by \sqrt{2} and rationalize:

\frac{6\sqrt{2} }{\sqrt{2} } =\frac{\sqrt{2}*u }{\sqrt{2} }\\\\\frac{6\sqrt{2} }{\sqrt{2}}  =u\\\\\frac{\sqrt{2}}{\sqrt{2}}*\frac{6\sqrt{2}}{\sqrt{2}}\\\\\frac{6\sqrt{4}}{\sqrt{4}}\\\\\frac{6*2}{2} \\\\6=u

Finito.

First of all, keep in mind :
m --> cm = times by 100
cm --> mm = times by 10
mm --> cm = divide by 10
cm --> m = divide by 100

so we know that a square has 4 equal sides and to find the area of a square we do base*height. now these two numbers on the base and height are the same so we're basically squaring them to get the area of 81. therefore, we do the reverse so square root 81 and we get the answer 9cm

now let's convert 9cm to mm
= 9*10 = 90
area in mm = 90mm

now let's convert 9cm to meters
= 9/100=0.09
area in m = 0.09m

and finally, we already worked out the area in cm
= 9cm

hope this helped :)

What theorem shows that TPN ≅ TQM?
melisa1 [442]

Note: Consider the side of first triangle is TQ instead of TA.

Given:

Triangles TQM and TPN which share vertex T.

TQ\cong TP,TM\cong TN

To find:

The theorem which shows that \Delta TPN\cong TQM.

Solution:

In triangle TQM and TPN,

TQ\cong TP        [Given]

\angle QTM\cong \angle PTN         [Given]

TM\cong TN        [Given]

Since two sides and their including angle are congruent in both triangles, therefore both triangles are congruent by SAS postulate.

\Delta TPN\cong TQM              [SAS]

Therefore, the correct option is C.

maxonik [38]

Answer: B. (-2, -1)

Step-by-step explanation:

(-2, -1) has a y-coordinate (-1) closer to 0 than the rest of the y-coordinates. And 0 would be turning point in this equation.
