Well it is really easy to answer this question. Firstly we can calculate the complete circles area which comes out to be pi*r^2 so it becomes 16 pi.

And now we can calculate the complete triangles area which comes out to be 1/2 * base * height so 1/2 * 8 * 4 = 16 cm^2.

Now we can subtract both of them and get our final shaded areas region. So 16 pi or 50.24 minus 16 = 34.2

Solve and state any extraneous solutions

\frac{3x}{x - 1}  + 2 =  \frac{3}{x - 1}

\frac{3x}{x - 1} +  \frac{2(x - 1) }{ x - 1}   =  \frac{3}{x - 1}

\frac{3x}{x - 1}  +  \frac{2x - 2}{ x - 1}  =  \frac{3}{x - 1}

\frac{3x + 2x - 2}{ x - 1}  =  \frac{3}{x - 1}

3x + 2x - 2 = 3

5x - 2 = 3

5x = 3 + 2

5x = 5

x =  \frac{5}{5}

x = 1

Two standard 6-sided number cubes are rolled, a red one and a blue one. How many different sums are possible?
AlladinOne [14]

Answer:

There are 11 different sums.

Step-by-step explanation:

When you roll two dice, the smallest number you can get is 2, and the largest 12, and you can get all in between. So 12-2 is equal to 10, but we have to add another 1 because 2 counts. So the answer is 11.
