Explanation:

To solve:

Using a technique called "dimensional analysis" :

_____________________________________________

  \frac{1 mi}{8 min} * \frac{60 min}{1 hr}  ;

               =     \frac{(1 * 60)}{(8 * 1 )}   \frac{mi}{hr}

               =     \frac{60}{8}  \frac{mi}{hr} ;

               =     \frac{(60/4)}{(8/4)}  \frac{mi}{hr} ;

               =    \frac{15}{2}   \frac{mi}{hr}  ;

               =    { 15 ÷ 2 }  \frac{mi}{hr}

               =      "  7 \frac{1}{2}  \frac{mi }{hr} " .

A bus can hold 44 people, if there are 35 students in samantha's class, how many more people can ride on the bus?, answer needs
OLEGan [10]
To find out how many people can ride on the bus, all you have to do is subtract 35 from 44, the answer being 9.

My attempt at a number line on Brainly:
<-------------------------------------->
  '     '     '     '     '     '     '     '     '
                                  35        44

Really, you should probably just do this part yourself.
