F(x) can also mean y

Use data point 2 to begin with as it makes things easier because it contains a 0 x=0 y=3

A. f(x)= -3x+2

f(0)=-3(0)+2
f(0)= 0+2
y=2which doesn’t correspond with the y= 3above

B.f(x)=-2x+3
f(0)=0+3
Y=3 which does correspond with the y=3 above

C.f(x)=2x-3
f(0)=2(0)-3
y=-3 which doesn’t correspond with the y= 3above

D.f(x)=3x-2
f(0)=3(0)-2
y=-2 which doesn’t correspond with the y= 3above

So function B. f(x)=-2x+3 is the only answer

How much ₹ each will get if 242.46₹ is distributed equally among the students
slavikrds [6]

Complete Question:

How much ₹ will each get if 242.46₹ is distributed equally among the 6 students

Answer:

Each of the 6 students will get ₹40.41

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Amount = 242.46

Students = 6

Required

Determine how much each student gets

To do this, we simply divide the total amount by the number of students

i.e.

Each\ Students = \frac{Amount}{Number\ Students}

Each\ Students = \frac{242.46}{6}

Each\ Student = 40.41

Hence, each of the 6 students will get ₹40.41

QF Q5.) Estimate the age of the paintings.
nikdorinn [45]
A=A₀e^{0.000121t}
A/A₀=24%=0.24
0.24=e^{0.000121t}
0.000121t=ln(0.24)
t=ln(0.24)/0.000121
=-11794.35
so painting is 11794 years old

Christy rented a banquet hall for her company party. There was a non-refundable deposit of $300 to reserve the space and an $85
rusak2 [61]

Answer:

a

Step-by-step explanation:

300 to reserve + 85 fee = 385, plus 27 per person or (27b) which equals 2,653. 27b + 385= 2,653. solve the equation for b and the answer is 84

Registration records show that 5 out of 8 students at college are older than 25 years. If there are 1200 students at the college
stellarik [79]
Take the total (1200) and divide it by the base number (8) and then multiply by how many there are in the ratio (5)
1200/8= 150    150*5=750
750 students are 25+

Log 9-log 4÷log 3-log 2
Minchanka [31]

Step-by-step explanation:

whoever created the original question and then probably the people copying it need to focus on writing these things correctly.

I assume this means

log(9) - log(4) ÷ log(3) - log(2)

or is anything combined in brackets ? like it could be e.g. log(4 ÷ log(3)). just as example.

and I guess we mean logarithm to the base of 10, right ?

anyway, if my assumptions are correct, then we only need to follow the regular priorities of mathematical operations :

1. brackets

2. exponents

3. multiplications and divisions

4. additions and subtractions

so, we need to start with the division in the middle, and then do the subtractions.

log(4) ÷ log(3) = 1.261859507...

log(9) - 1.261859507... = -0.307616998...

-0.307616998... - log(2) = -0.608646993...

or was the original question

(log(9) - log(4)) ÷ (log(3) - log(2))

?

that would be way more interesting.

we use the rules of logarithm :

e.g.

log(a×b) = log(a) + log(b)

log(a/b) = log(a) - log(b)

so, we have then

log(9/4) ÷ log(3/2)

and that is equal to

log(3/2 × 3/2) ÷ log(3/2)

(log(3/2) + log(3/2)) ÷ log(3/2) = 1 + 1 = 2

if that is the case, you really, REALLY need to pay more attention to brackets and other symbols in problem definitions.
