1 is b) because, 1 3/4 - 2/4(which is the same value as one half) = 1 1/4. I'm genral to be able to subtract different fractions the denominator which is the number on the bottom has to be the same for the fractions if you are adding or subtracting. But for multiplication you just multiply across.

In a geometric sequence, the seventh term exceeds the fifth term by 1,920. Find the sum of
uranmaximum [27]
That's geometric sequence

T7 = T5*r^2 = T5+1920
r = 2, so

4*T5 = T5 + 1920
3T5 = 1920
T5 = 640

640 = 2^4 * 40

So, a=40 and the sequence is

40 80 160 320 640 1280 2560 5120 10240 20480 40960 ...

Note that 2560 = 640 + 1920

The population of weights of a particular fruit is normally distributed, with a mean of 535 grams and a standard deviation of 13
Savatey [412]

Pn(Z>zp)=1−p%

Given a variable X following a normal distribution with mean μ and standard deviation σ, the area below the curve that corresponds to all values that are less than a that is, X<a

is the probability P(X<a). This probability is usually calculated by converting the variable X to a standard normal variable Z (forming z scores) defined by:

z=\frac{x-\mu}{\sigma}

The variable Z follows the standard normal distribution with a mean of 0 and a standard deviation of 1.

The standard normal probabilities are typically found by using the standard normal tables or other computational means such as calculators or software.

Pn(Z>zp)=1−p%

Here Pn is the probability for the standard normal variable.

Item5 Time Remaining 56 minutes 30 seconds00:56:30 Item 5Item 5 Time Remaining 56 minutes 30 seconds00:56:30 A pure sample of tr
trapecia [35]

Answer:

option A

Step-by-step explanation:

given,

sample of tritium, ³H

t_{1/2} = 12.32 years

contents present of ³H = 5.25 mol

content of ³He = 6.35 mol

reaction

 ^3H\rightarrow \ ^3He

A₀ is the initial concentration

At is the concentration after time t

A₀ = 5.25 + 6.35 = 11.6 mol

At = 5.25

now,

  k = \dfrac{0.693}{t_{1/2}}

  k = \dfrac{0.693}{12.32}

           k = 0.0563 /year

ln(\dfrac{A_o}{A_t}) = k t

t = \dfrac{1}{k} ln(\dfrac{A_o}{A_t})

t = \dfrac{1}{0.0563} ln(\dfrac{11.6}{5.25})

t = 14.1 yr

hence, the correct answer is option A
