Answer:

y= -3/8x + 1

Step-by-step explanation:

-4 = x1

5 = y1

y-y1=m(x-x1)

y-5 = -3/8(x-(-4)

y-5 = -3/8x + -3/2

+5 +5

y= -3/8x + 1

Use a geometric formula to solve the problem. a square has an area of 81 square meters. find the side length.
Yanka [14]
Answer: 9 meters

To answer this question you need to know the formula to calculate the area of a square. Square has same side length so the area is: length x length.
Then the calculation would be:

Area= length x length
81m2= length x length
Length ^2= 81 m2
Lengtj= <span>√81 m2</span>
Length= 9 meters

A(t)=934(1/2)t/30 for 20 years and 100 years
vichka [17]
\bf A(t)=934\left( \frac{1}{2} \right)^{\frac{t}{30}}\qquad \qquad \stackrel{t=20}{A(t)=934\left( \frac{1}{2} \right)^{\frac{20}{30}}\implies A(t)=934\left( \frac{1}{2} \right)^{\frac{2}{3}}}&#10;\\\\\\&#10;\stackrel{t=100}{A(t)=934\left( \frac{1}{2} \right)^{\frac{100}{30}}\implies A(t)=934\left( \frac{1}{2} \right)^{\frac{10}{3}}}

nothing to it, t = year, and  you can just plug that in your calculator.

The graphs below have the same shape. What is the equation of the red<br> graph?<br> HELP
VashaNatasha [74]

Answer:

The Graph below have the same shape.Equation of the red graph

Step-by-step explanation:

The graph is shifted up 1 unit. That's equivalent to adding 1 to all points:

In other words:

G(x) = F(x) + 1

Plugging in F(x) = 3 - x^4:

G(x) = 3 - x^4 + 1

G(x) = 4 - x^4

Answer:

A. G(x) = 4 - x^4
