What does this quote from powhatan, father of pocahontas, reveal about his attitude towards the settlers of jamestown?
Wittaler [7]

The correct answer is: "a.he thinks they should try and live in peace because he desires goods to trade. "

Upon the arrival of the settlers to America, Powhatan and his people helped them survive during their first years in these lands. He thought that an alliance could be forged between them and the settlers.

However, "the starving time" occurred forcing the settlers to take Native American food supplies. This caused Powhatan to retaliate towards them. This marked the beginning of a series of conflicts that would last a couple of years. These would end in 1614.

Jenson and Johnson enter into a contract that involves Johnson paying Jenson $1,000 for shoveling the snow from his driveway thr
Aleks04 [339]

Answer:

Restitution

Explanation:

According to my research on contractual law, I can say that based on the information provided within the question he should refund the $1000 to Johnson as a form of Restitution. This term is defined as when the court orders the defendant to give up his/her gains to the claimant. In this case it was voluntary restitution.

I hope this answered your question. If you have any more questions feel free to ask away at Brainly.

Which of the following is not true about athletes and religion? Religious athletes have higher moral development than nonreligio
mylen [45]

Answer:

Religious athletes have higher moral development than nonreligious athletes.

Explanation:

Athletes such as skier, Rebecca Dussault and weightlifter, Kulsoom Abdullah have attributed their success or commitment to their faiths. Because of their strong beliefs in a higher power, religious athletes may be better able to handle the stress of training, the downs of losing and injury.

Also, common characteristics help teams bond and a team with members who have a shared love of their sports as well as a shared faith have more reasons over which they can bond.

However, being religious does not automatically mean an athlete will be more morally developed or a non religious athlete will be amoral.
