Saying something that you wish you hadn't can lead to unintended B, consequences. If, after saying something, you wish you hadn't said it, it was probably the wrong thing to say. Either it was offensive or just plain-old mean. By saying something mean or offensive, the person you were speaking to would probably be very angry. They might even want revenge!
