The sequence given above are sequential steps which usually take place in THE FOUR STROKE ENGINE CYCLE. The correct option is A. The four stroke cycle engine is an internal combustion engine which used four piston stroke to complete one operation cycle. The first step, which is intake stroke takes air and fuel into the combustion chamber. The second step, which is the compression stroke compresses the mixture into a smaller volume. In the third step [ expansion stroke], the fuel is ignited by the spark and in the fourth step [exhaust stroke], left over gases are pushed out through the exhaust pipe.

Blank is most if the compounds that make up living things?
Margarita [4]

Answer:

carbon

Explanation:

Carbon forms compounds that make up about 18 percent of all the matter in living things. The processes by which organisms consume carbon and return it to their surroundings constitute the carbon cycle.

Analysis of a compound of sulfur, oxygen and fluorine showed that it is 31.42% S and 31.35% O, with F accounting for the remaind
Leya [2.2K]

Answer:

The molecular formula is  SO2F2

Explanation:

Step 1: Data given

Suppose the mass of compound = 100 grams

The compound contains:

31.42 % S = 31.42 grams S

31.35 % O = 31.35 grams O

100 - 31.42 - 31.35 = 37.23 F

Molar mass of S = 32.065 g/mol

Molar mass F = 19.00 g/mol

Molar mass O = 16.00 g/mol

Step 2: Calculate moles

Moles = mass / molar mass

Moles S = 31.42 grams / 32.065 g/mol

Moles S = 0.9799 moles

Moles 0 = 31.35 grams / 16.00 g/mol

Moles 0 = 1.959 moles

Moles F = 37.23 grams / 19.00 g/mol

Moles F = 1.959 moles

Step 3: Calculate mol ratio

We divide by the smallest amount of moles

S: 0.9799 / 0.9799 = 1

F: 1.959/ 0.9799 = 2

O : 1.959 / 0.9799 = 2

The empirical formula is SO2F2

This formula has a molecular mass of 102.06 g/mol

This means the empirical formula is also the molecular formula : SO2F2

Write a conclusion statement that addresses the following questions: • Explain what the color change indicated about the changes
Novay_Z [31]

Answer: try to understand coz the question is not valid

Explanation: Explain the relationship between forward and reverse reactions at equilibrium and predict how changing the amount of a reactant or product (creating a stress) will affect that relationship. For example (select one from each underlined section)If the amount of (reactant or product) increases, the rate of the (forward or reverse)reaction will (increase or decrease)to reach a new equilibrium. If the amount of (reactant or product) decreases, the rate of the (forward or reverse)reaction will (increase or decrease)to reach a new equilibrium. 2C2H6(g) + 7O2(g) → 4CO2(g) + 6H2O(g)
Ket [755]

Answer:- 10 L of ethane.

Solution:- The given balanced equation is:

2C_2H_6(g)+7O_2(g)\rightarrow 4CO_2(g)+6H_2O(g)

From this equation, ethane and oxygen react in 2:7 mol ratio, the ratio of volumes would also be same if they are at same temperature and pressure.

Since 14 L of each gas are taken, the oxygen will be the limiting reactant and ethane will be the excess reactant. Let's calculate the volume of ethane used:

14LO_2(\frac{2LC_2H_6}{7LO_2})

= 4LC_2H_6

From above calculations, 4 L of ethane are used. So, excess volume of ethane left after the completion of reaction = 14 L - 4 L = 10 L

Hence, 10 L of ethane will be remaining.

The equilibrium for the indicator methyl orange is HC14H14SO3(red) + H2O C14H14SO3−(yellow) + H3O+ The reaction is exothermic.
muminat

Answer:

The solution will turn red.

Explanation:

HC₁₄H₁₄SO₃ + H₂O ⇌ HC₁₄H₁₄SO₃⁻ +H₃O⁺

     (red)                           (yellow)

Methyl orange is a weak acid in which the ionized and unionized forms are distinct colours and are in equilibrium with each other,

At about pH 3.4,  the two the forms are present in equal amounts, and the indicator colour is orange.

If you add more acid, you are disturbing the equilibrium.

According to Le Châtelier's Principle, when you apply a stress to a system at equilibrium, it will respond in such a way as to relieve the stress.

The system will try to get rid of the added acid, so the position of equilibrium will move to the left.

More of the unionized molecules will form, so the solution will turn red.
