Let u = x^(1/3)

Then,

u^2 - 6u - 27 = 0

(u-9)(u+3)=0
u = 9, u = -3

Substitute back

X^(1/3) = 9
(X^(1/3))^3 = 9^3
X = 729

And
X^(1/3) = -3
(X^(1/3))^3 = -3^3
X = -27

An arc on a circle measures 85°. The measure of the central angle, in radians, is within which range? 0 to StartFraction pi Over
barxatty [35]

Answer:

0 to StartFraction pi Over 2

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

If the arc on a circle measures 85 degrees, then the measure of the central angle is also 85 degrees too

so

The central angle in degrees is within the range (0,90^o)

Convert to radians

Remember that

\frac{\pi}{2}\ radians=90^o

therefore

the range in radians is (0,\frac{\pi}{2})

0 to StartFraction pi Over 2
