The Trung sister's rebel was an armed secular uprising in the southern part of Han China.The rebel was led by Trung Trac and her sibling Trung Nhi against the Chinese official in Jiaozhi. In March 40 AD Trung sisters guided the people of Yue to revolt against the Han at Red River Delta. Soon the revolt spread to the other Yue tribes along the northern and southern coast. They were able to gain support of sixty-five settlements and tribes Trung Trac was announced as the queen. In Spite of gaining control over the countryside, they were unable to capture the consolidated towns  

The authorities appointed general Ma Yuan to crush the rebel in Han China Ma Yuan succeeded in crushing the rebel and regained full control. Trung sister were arrested and beheaded.
