How does Inquiry differ from the Scientific Method?
cupoosta [38]

Answer:

B. Inquiry is more open ended, while the Scientific Method is more linear.

Explanation:

Scientific investigations involve asking questions and providing answer to them. Scientists use data from observations to proffer solutions to problems. Scientific inquiry and scientific method are used in this regard, however, they are not the same.

One of the notable differences between the scientific inquiry and method is that:

- Scientific method is a step by step, linear structured way of solving problems whereas scientific inquiry does not follow a linear pattern. In other words, inquiry is more open ended, while the scientific method is more linear.
