Answer:

1.  Because running longer distances allows the body for proper oxygen consumption (meaning, when you are “running aerobically”, your muscles have enough oxygen to produce all the energy they need to perform).

2. True. In this instance, the muscles do not have enough oxygen to create the energy you are demanding (usually from an increase in pace that is faster than your body is able to sustain, for example sprinting at the finish).

When running anaerobically, the muscles begin to break down sugar, but instead of producing just CO2 and water, they also produce excessive amounts of lactate.

What is a long-term benefit of regularly participating in physical activity?
Burka [1]

Answer:

Increased strength

Explanation:

We can rule out option A because physical activity shouldn’t cause decreased sleep unless your sleeping pattern is wack. Option B is also wrong because Physical activty won’t help with nutritional balance, nutrition is based on what you eat. Option D is wrong because when you are physically active you are burning calories and fat, this leads to weight lost not weight gain.

lara31 [8.8K]

Answer:

Babies born with fetal alcohol syndrome are proof that alcohol is a teratogen

Explanation:

A teratogen is an agent that causes an abnormality for the fetus  during pregnancy . Drinking alcohol during pregnancy causes Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. This is because the alcohol passes through the blood and get into the womb thereby reaches the fetus.

Alcohol disturbs the nutrition and oxygen delivery for the baby in the mother’s womb. The development of organs and tissues is also affected due to alcohol consumption. Alcohol also causes permanent brain damage in the baby. Hence alcohol is considered as a teratogen in fetal alcohol syndrome.

What kind of job would you have where you used the blinking response quite often?
Black_prince [1.1K]
A kind of job where you would have used the blinking response is:
*one example is working in a factory. You would have needed to blink often, in order to keep dust away from your eyes.
*another example is working as a business man or woman. These people often times look into the computer, which causes your eyes to feel more tired which is followed by blinking often during the day.
*a final example is: being an artist. You blink often due to looking into one place and painting small details, and straining your eyes to make a piece perfect.

*******hope this helps, and i hope i was right on track with my answer, please, if i did a good job, can you please pick my answer as brainliest? thank you, i really need the points!!!! :)
