Answer:

The radius is  r = 0.0170 \ m

Explanation:

From the question we are told that

      The speed at which the race car moves is v = 0.512 \ m/s

       The centripetal acceleration is  a _r  =  15.4 \ m/s

Generally the centripetal acceleration is mathematically represented as

           a_r =  \frac{v^2 }{r}

=>        15.4  =  \frac{0.512^2 }{ r}

=>       r = 0.0170 \ m

The position of a charge in an electric field gives it _____electric
kykrilka [37]

Answer:

The space surrounding a charged object is affected by the presence of the charge; an electric field is established in that space. A charged object creates an electric field - an alteration of the space or field in the region that surrounds it. Other charges in that field would feel the unusual alteration of the space.

A 4.0-kg block is pushed up a 36 incline by a force of magnitude P applied parallel to the incline. When P is 31 N, it is obser
denpristay [2]

Answer:

15.1 N

Explanation:

mass of block (m) = 4 kg

angle of inclination = 36 degrees

applied force (P) = 31 N

acceleration due to gravity (g) = 9.8 m/s^{2}

since the block is moving at a constant speed, it means the acceleration is 0 and therefore the summation of all the forces acting on the body is 0

therefore

P - f - mgsinθ = 0

where

  • P = applied force
  • f = frictional force
  • m = mass
  • g = acceleration due to gravity
  • θ = angle of inclination

when P = 31 N and the block is pushed upward

31 - f - (4 x 9.8 x sin 36) = 0

f = 7.96 N

now that we have the value of the frictional force we can find P required to lower the block, our equation becomes p + f - mgsinθ = 0 since the block is to be lowered

P + f - mgsinθ = 0

P = mgsinθ - f

P = (4 x 9.8 x sin 36) - 7.96 = 15.1 N

Which physical phenomena is responsible for the earth’s sky appearing blue? scattering reflection dispersion refraction
klio [65]

Answer:  Scattering reflection

Sunlight reaches earth's atmosphere and is scattered in all directions by all the gasses and particles in the air. Blue light is seen more than others because it travels as shorter, smaller waves. This is why we see a blue sky most of the time.

Which type of reasoning relies on collection of evidence to make a generalization
padilas [110]

Answer:

Explanation:

I'm pretty sure the answer would be deductive reasoning. Deductive reasoning relies on making logical premises and basing a conclusion around those premises. It does not rely on making inferences and then assuming those inferences to be true.
