This is because if you follow the y=mx+b form you get b=175 Bc that represents the cost for application and the m=20 Bc it’s 20 dollars per month. This then means the 2 is the x because it’s that’s the value/the months. So then y=20(2)+175, 20(2)=40, 40+175=215, y=$215
