Answer: A (32,100,000

Step-by-step explanation:

My answer is correct because, All you have to do is multiply 3.21 times 10^{7}.

To make it easier we have to simlify 10^{7}.  10^{7} equals 10000000. So now we just have tii multiply 3.21 and 10000000. 3.21 times 10000000 equals 32,100,000.

Hope This Helps!

(P.S: Thanks so much for sending this question now because of it im rank ace! Thanks so much and I will remember this question as the question that took me a rank up!)

Prove the trigonometric identity
Annette [7]

Answer:

Proved See below

Step-by-step explanation:

Man this one is a world of its own :D Just a quick question are you a fellow Add Math student in O levels i remember this question from back in the day :D Anyhow Lets get started

For this question we need to know the following identities:

1+tan^{2}x=sec^2x\\\\1+cot^2x=cosec^2x\\\\sin^2x+cos^2x=1

Lets solve the bottom most part first:

1-\frac{1}{1-sec^2x} \\\\

Take LCM

1-\frac{1}{1-sec^2x} \\\\\frac{1-sec^2x-1}{1-sec^2x} \\\\\frac{-sec^2x}{1-sec^2x} \\\\\frac{-(1+tan^2x)}{-tan^2x}

now break the LCM

\frac{-1}{-tan^2x}+\frac{-tan^2x}{-tan^2x}\\\\\frac{1}{tan^2x}+1\\\\cot^2x+1

because 1/tan = cot x

and furthermore,

cot^2x+1\\cosec^2x

now we solve the above part and replace the bottom most part that we solved with cosec^2x

\frac{1}{1-\frac{1}{cosec^2x} } \\\\\frac{1}{1-sin^2x} \\\\\frac{1}{cos^2x}\\\\sec^2x

Hence proved! :D

dimaraw [331]

The distance in kilometers in scientific notation 2.03 \times 10^3 km

<h3>Scale factors</h3>

Scale factors are values or constants multiplied with a variable

If Alvin and Simon raced a distance of 2.9 \times 10^2 kilometers and they need to race 7 times that distance in a kilometer, the distance traveled will be:

  • Distance travelled = 7(2.9 \times 10^2)
  • Distance travelled = 2.03 \times 10^3 km

Hence the distance in kilometers in scientific notation 2.03 \times 10^3 km

What are the solutions of the equation x4 + 95x2 – 500 = 0? Use factoring to solve. x = plus-or-minus StartRoot 5 EndRoot and x
Oduvanchick [21]

Answer:

<em>* x ⇒ plus-or-minus StartRoot 5 EndRoot and ±10i *</em>

Step-by-step explanation:

Through factorization;

x^4 + 95x^2 – 500 = 0, ⇒ <em>u^2 ⇒ x^2</em>,

u^2 + 95u - 500 = 0, ⇒<em> factors of -500; -25, 20, -50 * 10, -2 * 250, -5 * 100...</em>

( u )^2 + ( - 5 + 100 ) + ( - 5 * 100 ) = 0,

( u - 5 )( u + 100 ) = 0,

<em>u = 5, and y = - 100</em>

Substitute u back into format x^2;

u = x^2, 5 = x^2, | x | = √5 ⇒ <em>x = - / + √5,</em>

u = x^2, - 100 = x^2, | x | = √- 100 ⇒ <em>x = - / + 10i</em>

<em>* Answer: x ⇒ plus-or-minus StartRoot 5 EndRoot and ±10i *</em>

chanasia has a point 75 gallons of paint. She wants to use to 2/5 of the paint to pay her living room. How many gallons of paint
Brut [27]

To find this, we simply multiply 75 by 2/5

75 * 2/5 = 75*2/5

150/5 = 30

She will use 30 gallons of paint.
