6 x 7 + 9 x 7

Explanation:
Ok so if you separate that figure into two shapes, you will have 2 rectangle.

Its kinds too long to explain, but just know that to find the formula of a rectangle is length x width.

So, find the area of the rectangle on the left first:
The width of the rectangle on the left is 6
The length is 7
Multiply 6 x 7

Next, find the area of th rectangle on the right:
The length is 9
The width is 7
Multiply 9 x 7

Since this is originally one figure, we do this:
6 x 7 + 9 x 7

A triangle has sides with lengths of 8 centimeters, 15 centimeters, and 17 centimeters. Is it a right triangle?
ycow [4]

Answer:

Yes it is!

Step-by-step explanation:

If you want to know whether it is, use the pytheoream theory. a2+b2=c2

a is the shortest side, b is the second longest and c is the longest.

In this case, the equation will be:

8 sq + 15 sq = 17 sq

64 + 225 = 289

= It is a right-angled triangle!
