The right answer is

A. Virus ==> AIDS

B. Fungus ==> Histoplasmosis

C. Protist  ==> Amoebic dysentery .

Amebic dysentery, or intestinal amoebiasis is caused by a microscopic unicellular parasite that lives in the large intestine.

Parasitic and contagious affection, the amoebiasis is due to a protozoa, the dysenteric amoeba, Entamoeba histolytica.

It is observed throughout the world, but especially in hot and humid regions. The great tropical deltas, especially in Asia, have the sad privilege of representing the elective domain of the amoeba endemic.

HIV, or human immunodeficiency virus, is a type of virus that can cause a condition called AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome).

Histoplasmosis is an infectious lung disease caused by a fungus called Histoplasma capsulatum. This infection can sometimes spread to other parts of the body.

It is sometimes called cellar disease. She was probably at the origin of the myth of the curse of the pyramids.

Histoplasma capsulatum thrives in a humid environment at moderate temperatures. Chicken, pigeon, starling, robin and bat droppings continue to grow. Birds do not become infected because of the high temperature of their bodies, but they carry this organism in their plumage. Bats, which have a lower body temperature, can be infected by this organism and eliminated in their dung.

Histoplasma capsulatum multiplies producing small spores called conidia that measure only two microns (micrometers) in diameter. These spores are fine enough to seep into the lungs by breathing and lodge there. They can then trigger an infection, which sometimes goes unnoticed because its symptoms are very mild or nonexistent.

But histoplasmosis can also produce a serious disease that resembles tuberculosis.
