Answer:

45.650 centimeters

Step-by-step explanation:

The height of a vase is 45.7 centimeters when rounded to the nearest tenth of a centimeter. What is the shortest possible height of the vase? Give your answer to 3 decimal places

Given that :

Height of vase = 45.7 when rounded to the nearest tenth

The shortest possible height of the vase : will be 45.65, this is because, the subsequent digit (hundredth) after the tenth digit is the figure rounded to give a tenth digit of 7

From the we know that the tenth digit before rounding is 7 - 1 = 6

And smallest possible value the hundredth placed digit could have in other to be rounded to 1 is 5.

To three decimal place, the thousandth placed value could take the least possible value in a digit series, which is 0

Hence, the shortest possible height of the vase = 4.650

What is the domain? I think it’s (-4,-3)
Olin [163]

Answer:

all real numbers

Step-by-step explanation:

As the graph goes up, it keeps going up and to the right. There is nothing telling us it will stop moving to the right at a certain point. It goes up much faster than it goes right, but it keeps going right and up forever. That makes the domain reach positive infinity. The same happens on the left side. As it goes down to the left, it keeps going left forever to negative infinity. That makes the domain all real numbers from negative infinity to positive infinity.

sqrt(36) = 6

sqrt(a^2) = a  See comment for 1.

b must be left where it is. There is only 1 of them.

6asqrt(b)

Answer: A

3. sqrt(25) = 5

sqrt(b^2) = b

a must be left alone.  There's only 1 of them.

5b sqrt(a)

answer: C
