Since the Bible promises that God's word "will not come back void" any use of scripture in counseling will be beneficial to the client.
may possibly be wrong but im like 98.9% sure because counseling is for seeking help and prayer is the way to seek help, how he opened the eyes of the blind and healed a sick woman bleeding out for 12 years etc, all these scriptures are how God is superior and through him you wont break which all connects to seeking help through God and his word
