6 0

Answer:

0.25

Step-by-step explanation:

Bag 1 :

Number of marbles = 6

Number of Blue marbles = 3

Bag 2:

Number of marbles = 4

Number of Blue marbles = 2

Recall :

Probability = required outcome / Total possible outcomes

For Bag 1:

P(blue) = Number of Blue marbles / total marbles

P(blue) = 3 / 6 = 1/ 2

For Bag 2:

P(blue) = Number of Blue marbles / total marbles

P(blue) = 2 / 4 = 1/ 2

Probability of a picking a blue marble from each bag :

1/2 * 1/2 = 1/4 = 0.25

HELP!! I need help on #5 and #6. I will give brainlist!!
Karolina [17]

Answer:

#5 more info is needed. #6 is a CD.

Step-by-step explanation:

#5 doesn't have the appropriate values given which in this case is how much money. #6 is most likely a CD because they tend to have bigger interest rates, unless if you needed to access it. If you needed to access this money, a savings account would most likely give you the best interest rates.

How do you find the first five terms of a sequence defined recursively
Blizzard [7]
Interesting question. Good to know for computer science.
Suppose you have a function like
an = 3x - 2 Try the first couple
a1 = 3(1) - 2
a1 = 3 - 2
a1 = 1

a2 = 3(2) - 2
a2 = 6 - 2
a2 = 4 So each term differs by 3
a2 - a1 = 3

an = a_(n - 1) + 3
a3 = a2 + 3
a3 = 4 + 3
a3 = 7

a4 = a3 + 3
a4 = 7 + 3
a4 = 10

a5 = a4+ 3
a5 = 10 + 3
a5 = 13

I'll do one more and then check it.
a6 = a5 + 3
a6 = 13 + 3
a6 = 16

a6 = 3x -2
a6 = 3*6 - 2
a6 = 18 - 2
a6 = 16 which checks.

So the general formula is
an = a_(n - 1) * k if you were multiplying or
an = a_(n - 1) + k if you were adding. The key thing is that you are working with the previous term.

LiRa [457]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

$15 a magazine.

To calculate how much each candy bar was, you must do $15-$3 = $12

In total, she spent $12 on candy bars. Therefore you must do $12/4 candy bars= $3 a candy bar.

Hope this helps
