Answer:

14x + 6y = 10

14x + 35y = -77

Step-by-step explanation:

Multiply the top one by 2

14x + 6y = 10

Multiply the bottom one by 7

14x + 35y = -77

His next step is to subtract. You could have done this by multiplying the top one by -2

-14x - 6y = - 10

14x + 35y = -77     Now all you need do is add.  The question now becomes what do you do? What answer do you give? I think the expected answer is the top two equations, but if I was actually doing the problem, I'd use the bottom 2.

How do u write 43,080,700 on word form
serg [7]
To spell number into word, it is best if you group the number by three digit. From the number 43,080,700 you can group it into three groups
1. 700
2. 080
3. 43
The first group of 700 doesn't need to add name so you called it "seven hundred"
The second group will need to add "thousands" so it's "eighty thousand"
The third group is 43 need to add "million" so it is "forty three million"

Then you add them all into forty-three million, eighty thousand seven hundred

function f of x is a straight line which joins the ordered pairs negative 2.8, 16.4 and 3.5, negative 2.5. Function g of x is a
Alecsey [184]
Given the graph of the function
f(x)=-3x+8
and the graph of the function
g(x)=(0.25)^x

-3x+8=(0.25)^x when f(x) = g(x).
This occurs at the point(s) of intersection of the graphs of the function f(x) and g(x).

From the graph, we can approximate the points of intersection of the graphs of the function f(x) and g(x) to pe points (-1.9, 13.7) and (2.7, 0).

The value of y is directly proportional to the value of x. If y = 35 when x = 140, what is the value of y when x = 70?
gtnhenbr [62]

Answer:

17.5

Step-by-step explanation:

y=kx

35 = k(140)

k = 0.25

(k is constant of proportionality)

y = (0.25)(70)

y=17.5
