I think that Harriet Tubman was a great leader. She fought for slaves rights by sacrificing herself. Harriet protested by sitting by the white people on the bus when she should’ve been sitting by the back, with the other black people. So for that she started a rebellion where you don’t do violence, but protest for rights. So these are examples that show why Harriet Tubman is a great leader.

explain ONE specific argument critics used in the 1780s to support revising the Articles of Confederation.
schepotkina [342]
To support revising the Articles of Confederation was that the central government lacks power or lack of centralized government power.
The previous Article of Confederation allowed the states to hold most of the power, and the central government was too weak to even function properly. Due to this there was also huge difference in terms of economics from state to state.

Why did anti-imperialists cite principles of self-determination and invoke
exis [7]

Anti imperialists wanted the country to not extend its trade and to become more self independent in their own country.

Explanation:

The time of 1890s was an important period in Us because here were two factions that were discussing how US would approach the world in the future.

The Imperialists knew that the country needed more resources and to make sure that it was possible they needed more ground covered and they were also alive to the fact that European influence of expanding their culture and institution had brought the, great profits and power.

The Anti imperialists wanted the country to rely on its old tradition of self determinism and isolation to develop the country to greater heights and saw that there would only be conflict like the European nations if they were to expand.
