Answer:

The main difference between Federalists and Anti-Federalists at the time of the ratification of the Constitution of the United States was in the powers that the federal government would have compared to those of the states.

Thus, the Federalists defended the idea of a strong and comprehensive federal government, as described in the articles of the Constitution. In turn, the Anti-Federalists feared that this strong government could trample on the rights of citizens and state governments, thus fighting for the adoption of amendments that would guarantee these rights: the Bill of Rights.

Therefore, all writing that promoted a broad federal government and with great prerogatives would be Federalist, while all writing that defended the rights and powers of the states in particular would be Anti-Federalist.

How did federal government respond to the American Federation of Labor?
timurjin [86]
Established in 1886, the American Federation of Labor is an umbrella organization for other unions.

In 1881, Samuel Gompers took the lead in organizing the Federation of Organized Trades and Labor Unions of the United States of America and Canada. This organization became the American Federation of Labor (AFL) in 1886, in Columbus, Ohio. Many members of these two groups were disgruntled members of the Knights of Labor, the most influential organization of unions in the United States during the 1870s. Gompers served as the AFL's first president. He remained the organization's president, other than for one year, until his death in 1924. Under Gompers's leadership, the AFL became the largest labor union organization in the United States. The AFL initially allowed only skilled workers to join the organization. Unskilled laborers initially did not have representation under the AFL. The group also originally prohibited women, African Americans, and other racial minorities from joining the organization. Gompers supported the use of strikes, but he preferred peaceful negotiations to attain fair contracts for workers from their employers. He also sought to keep the AFL out of the political arena, believing that political activity might offend some business owners and hinder the workers' ability to attain better conditions.

Who helped the Pilgrims learn about fertilizer
fredd [130]
It was a Native American called Tisquantum, also known as Squanto.

Squanto was a native American who could speak English. He had been captured a slave as a young boy and taken to Spain. From Spain he was sent to England and from where he managed to move back to his home region in modern-day Massachusetts.

On arriving back, he found out that his tribe has been effectively wiped off.

His English skills came in handy and he become close to the Pilgrims in the area. He taught them how to use the local soil to grow crops and essential food.

Historians believe that if it wasn't for Squanto, the Pilgrims would have perished within a few months.
