Answer:

Small amounts of a material are more likely to be affected by temperature, than bigger amounts of the same substance.

Explanation:

This is because of heat capacity. Heat capacity is the the amount of heat needed to raise the temperature of 1 gram of a substance by 1 degree. Water has a very high heat capacity, so the more of it there is, the harder it il be to raise its temperature.

Answer:

It's a similar answer but using different words i got 100% on it

Explanation:

Heat capacity is what makes small amounts of a particular substance more susceptible to temperature changes than larger amounts. Taking 1 gram of a substance and raising its temperature by 1 degree is called heat capacity. Since water is extremely hot, you'll have a harder time raising its temperature the more of it there is.

Changes in water temperature affect the density of the water. Water density is important for deep ocean currents that move water
Alika [10]

Answer:

The water would get warmer and would not sink to the bottom, and therefore disrupt the worldwide currents

Explanation:

the warmer water is less dense than the colder water and would not sink, which would interrupt the natural currents with extra external heat added by global warming

Why do people choose to pollute the environment instead of being environmentally friendly
sleet_krkn [62]

Answer:

The main reason many people choose to avoid green action is that they think it will cost them more than their typical, environmentally harmful activities. Many times, it is true that environmental friendly products come with high up-front costs, but these costs almost always are made back over the lifetime of products. Many environmentally friendly products are far more efficient and cost-effective over their life-time than other, less clean options. For the most part, people are simply unaware of the economic benefits of going green. This lack of knowledge make consumers unwilling to make decisions that they perceive will cost them more money. No matter how dedicated to the environment a person is, if they believe it will lose them money, it is unlikely that they will ever do anything about it. While total spending on green products may be increasing in the United States, the market share remains dangerously low – typically making up only 3-5% of any given market.
