Answer:

Interest earned= $6,060

Step-by-step explanation:

Giving the following formula:

Principal (P)= $12,625

Interest (r)= 4%= 0.04

Period of time (t)= 12 years

To calculate the interest earned after twelve years, we need to use the following formula:

I= P*r*t

I= (12,625*0.04*12)

I= $6,060

Interest earned= $6,060

Ten weeks of data on the Commodity Futures Index are as follows.
IgorLugansk [536]

The analysis of time series is a process by which a set of observations in a time series is analyzed.

Part a: The time series plot is constructed both in de$mo$ and excel sheet.

b. The data appear to follow a horizontal pattern.

Part b: The trial and error is used to find the value of exponential smoothing coefficient that results in MSE= 0.009 which is less than 0.01.

The MSE in the first table is calculated using the average of the two previous years.

The MSE in the second table is calculated using the moving average

The MSE in the third table is calculated by using ∝= 0.4 and the value of alpha changes to different values as shown in the cell U20, V20 and W20.

The MSE is the mean squared error.

We find the error by subtracting forecast data from the actual data.

The forecasted data may be average of 2 years , moving average of 3 years or adding the multiplied chosen value of alpha with the actual data and the multiplied value of 1- ∝ with the forecasted value of data.

The error is then squared.

The squared error is then averaged which gives the MSE.

The values of ∝= 0.400641005, 0.40319659, 0.400641001 may give the best MSE values.

Identify the two triangle congruence criteria that do NOT guarantee congruence. Explain why they do not guarantee congruence, an
Mashcka [7]

Answer: Hello mate!

there are two congruence criteria that do not guarantee congruence:

AAA ( or 3 angles)

two triangles can have the same 3 angles, but different size, then they are not congruent; an example of this is:

take the triangle rectangle of both cathetus = 1 and hypotenuse = √2, where the angles are 90°, 45° and 45°

and now take the triangle rectangle with both cathetus = 2 and hypotenuse = √8, this triangle also has the angles 90°, 45°, and 45°, so this two triangles succeed the AAA criteria, but are not congruent.

SSA (side-side-angle)

If two triangles satisfy the SSA criteria and the corresponding angles are acute and the length of the side opposite to the angle is greater than the length of the adjacent side multiplied by the sine of the angle (but less than the length of the adjacent side), then the two triangles are not necessarily congruent.

This is kinda harder to illustrate;

think on a triangle rectangle where you have the measure of both cathetus and one of the angles different from 90° as the SSA data.

and now think on another triangle that has the same adjacent cathetus and angle, and where the other cathetus is rotated (in a sense where 90° is decreasing) to the point where its tip intercepts the hypotenuse of the first triangle.

Those two triangles meet the SSA criteria but are not congruent.
