All of the options above are the reasons why students drink. Yet, to cope with negative emotions is the most likely result in negative consequences.

EXPLANATION:

There are several reasons why students drink. They include:

1.    Friendship: sometimes, it is difficult for students to make friends in a new circumstance. Thus, they drink to relief the nervousness to make new friends.

2.    Boredom: one common reason why students drink is boredom. It is because alcohol gives a temporary feeling of excitement and fun. Thus, for those who get difficult to make a plan and stick to it, alcohol will help.

3.    Social belonging: peer pressure is hard for students. Some want to fit with students who avoid alcohol. Others want to stick to students’ crowd who drink alcohol. Thus, social belonging matters in making students drink.

4.    Stress relief: stress is a common and natural reaction from the body. Yet, many students drink alcohol to deal with stress. It is because students experience a lot of stress during school and tasks. Thus, they drink to relief some stress.

5.    Lowering inhibitions: students drink because they think that alcohol will allow them to be less inhibited. They also think that alcohol will make them sexier. Although in some ways, drinking alcohol while doing s e x doesn’t give any benefits.

6.    Fear of missing out (FOMO): students nowadays are easy to experience the fear of missing out or FOMO. They will follow a recent trend just to be called up-to-date. This might include drinking alcohol as a trend.

All of those reasons for students drinking are bad. All of them will give bad effects on students. Yet, to cope with negative emotions to deal with stress surely is the reason that likely will give negative effects. Instead of drinking to cope with negative emotions, students can find a positive group of friends or adults whom they could talk to.

Answer:

D. To cope with negative emotions

Explanation:

It is true that for most people, Drinking could provide a little bit of help with negative emotions since its basically numb both of your mind and body.

The thing is , drinking does not really cure the core problems that cause the negative emotions in the first place. Over time, the drinks will give less effect than its used to and the students need to increase the amount to feel the same effect. This could lead to serious health problems.

Rather than drinking, putting themselves in the company of their friends and or making themselves busy by doing positive things  (such as workout or joining a club) are much better course of actions.

Answer:

Explanation:

After World War II, defeated Germany was divided into Soviet, American, British and French zones of occupation. The city of Berlin, though technically part of the Soviet zone, was also split, with the Soviets taking the eastern part of the city. After a massive Allied airlift in June 1948 foiled a Soviet attempt to blockade West Berlin, the eastern section was drawn even more tightly into the Soviet fold. Over the next 12 years, cut off from its western counterpart and basically reduced to a Soviet satellite, East Germany saw between 2.5 million and 3 million of its citizens head to West Germany in search of better opportunities. By 1961, some 1,000 East Germans—including many skilled laborers, professionals and intellectuals—were leaving every day

In August, Walter Ulbricht, the Communist leader of East Germany, got the go-ahead from Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev to begin the sealing off of all access between East and West Berlin. Soldiers began the work over the night of August 12-13, laying more than 100 miles of barbed wire slightly inside the East Berlin border. The wire was soon replaced by a six-foot-high, 96-mile-long wall of concrete blocks, complete with guard towers, machine gun posts and searchlights. East German officers known as Volkspolizei (“Volpos”) patrolled the Berlin Wall day and night.

FrozenT [24]

when considering trends, it is important to remember that trends reported from the ucr are arrest trends, not delinquent behavior trends. This statement is true.

Crime trends are defined as significant changes in the nature of selected crime types within defined geographic areas and time periods. It is a measure of significant changes in local crime patterns over time.

Delinquent behavior is defined as a criminal act committed by a person who defies the laws of civil society. Our understanding of crime is based on the principle of normalization. In other words, personal guilt is based on the norms and laws that apply in civil society.
