Answer:

1. 11 cm sq

2. $48

3. 2,697,986

4. (can't see the whole thing)

Step-by-step explanation:

1st one

I just tested out all the possibilities and that is the smallest it can get

2nd one

First, we add up 1/4 and 1/3

1/4 = 3/12

1/3 = 4/12

3/12+4/12 is 7/12 this is how much money she spent in total

5/12 is remaining which we know is $20 so if we find what 1/12 is we can multiply to find the original. 20/5=4. 1/12 = 4 now we do 4*12 which is 48 so she had $48 originally.

3rd one

This one the wording is weird, so they are just asking what minus 2 700 000 is 2014. We can just do 2,700,000-2014 which is 2,697,986

4th one

I cant see the whole problem, ill be glad to help but I can't see it rn.

*Added explanation for the 1st one*

1st one

so we know that the perimeter is 24.

What I do is just check out all the possibilities

i started off with making an even square

24/4=6

6*6=36

then I tried again

but with 1 as my width

1*2 sides=2

24-2=22

22/2=11

11*1=11 which is the smallest

It's kinda hard to explain since it really just is taking some time to find the smallest area combination.

makvit [3.9K]

Answer:

Parent's share would be : 28%

Step-by-step explanation:

Cost of the computer = $2000

Anya's share = $1200

Brother's share = $240

Parents paid rest. That will be : 2000 - 1200 - 240 = $560

Percentage of parents share :

                                             \frac{560}{2000} \times 100 = 28 \%
