Answer:

2\sqrt{2} \\2

Step-by-step explanation:

\sqrt{8} = \sqrt{4*2} = \sqrt{4} * \sqrt{2} = 2*\sqrt{2}  = 2\sqrt{2} \\\\\sqrt[3]{8} = \sqrt{2*2*2}  = 2

Which statement implies that A and B are independent events?
STatiana [176]

Answer:

P(A \cap B) = P(A)P(B)

Step-by-step explanation:

Independent events:

If two events, A and B are independent, the probability of both A and B happening is the same as the probability of A happening multiplied by the probability of B happenings, that is:

P(A \cap B) = P(A)P(B)

In this question:

The statement is P(A \cap B) = P(A)P(B)

The recursive rule for a sequence is an=an-1+7, where a1=15.What is the explict rule for this sequence
posledela

well, the recursive rule of aₙ = aₙ₊₁ + 7, where a₁ = 15, is simply saying that

we start of at 15, and the next term is obtained by simply adding 7, and so on.

well, that's the recursive rule.

so then let's use that common difference and first term for the explicit rule.

\bf n^{th}\textit{ term of an arithmetic sequence} \\\\ a_n=a_1+(n-1)d\qquad \begin{cases} a_n=n^{th}\ term\\ n=\textit{term position}\\ a_1=\textit{first term}\\ d=\textit{common difference}\\ \cline{1-1} a_1=15\\ d=7 \end{cases} \\\\\\ a_n=15+(n-1)7\implies a_n=15+7n-7\implies a_n=7n+8

Law Incorporation [45]

Answer:

y-1 = 5/3(x-3)

Choice C

Step-by-step explanation:

slope = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

(3,1) (6,6)

m = (6-1)/(6-3)

m = (5/3)

the point slope form of a line is given by

y-y1 = m(x-x1)

You have point (3,1)

y-1 = 5/3(x-3)

Choice C

Written as a simplified polynomial in standard form, what is the result when (x-8)^2
neonofarm [45]

Answer:

26x-67-x²

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given

(10x - 3) - (x - 8) {}^{2}

Expanding (x-8)²=x²-16x+64

10x-3-(x²-16x+64)

10x-3-x²+16x-64

26x-67-x²
