Find the position vector R(t) and velocity vector V(t), given the acceleration A(t) and initial position and velocity vectors R(
valentina_108 [34]

The fundamental theorem of calculus tells us that

\vec v(t)=\vec v(0)+\displaystyle\int_0^t\vec a(u)\,\mathrm du

\vec r(t)=\vec r(0)+\displaystyle\int_0^t\vec v(u)\,\mathrm du

So we have

\vec v(t)=(\vec\imath-\vec\jmath-2\,\vec k)+\displaystyle\int_0^t(u^2\,\vec\imath-2u^{1/2}\,\vec\jmath+e^{3u}\,\vec k)\,\mathrm du

\vec v(t)=(\vec\imath-\vec\jmath-2\,\vec k)+\left(\dfrac{u^3}3\,\vec\imath-\dfrac{4u^{3/2}}3\,\vec\jmath+\dfrac{e^{3u}}3\,\vec k\right)\bigg|_0^t

\vec v(t)=\dfrac{t^3+3}3\,\vec\imath-\dfrac{4t^{3/2}+3}3\,\vec\jmath+\dfrac{e^{3t}-7}3\,\vec k

and

\vec r(t)=(2\,\vec\imath+\vec\jmath-\vec k)+\displaystyle\int_0^t\left(\frac{u^3+3}3\,\vec\imath-\frac{4u^{3/2}+3}3\,\vec\jmath+\frac{e^{3u}-7}3\right)\,\mathrm du

\vec r(t)=(2\,\vec\imath+\vec\jmath-\vec k)+\left(\dfrac{u^3+12u}{12}\,\vec\imath-\dfrac{8u^{5/2}+15u}{15}\,\vec\jmath+\dfrac{e^{3u}-21u}9\,\vec k\right)\bigg|_0^t

\vec r(t)=\dfrac{t^3+12t+24}{12}\,\vec\imath-\dfrac{8t^{5/2}+15t-15}{15}\,\vec\jmath+\dfrac{e^{3t}-21t-10}9\,\vec k

What is the greatest common factor for 21,24,27
True [87]
So,

To find the GCF, you have to factor all of the numbers.

21 --> 3 * 7
24 --> 2 * 2 * 2 * 3
27 --> 3 * 3 * 3

Next, you find all the factors that they have in common.

They all have at least one 3, so that means that 3 is the greatest common factor of 21, 24, and 27.

HELP PLS 25 POINTS!!!!
Anika [276]

Okay, let me first explain what the equation<em> y = 8.77x + 686 </em>means

<em>y </em><em>is the hikers elevation </em>

Look at the graph and see what the y and x axis's are labeled as.

<em>x </em><em>is time. </em>

8.77 is just the slop of the trend line.

<em>686 </em><em>is just the elevation the hiker starts at</em>, or in technical terms, the y intercept. Y intercept is just where the lines touches the y axis.

The question asks what will be the <u>hiker's elevation at 145 minutes. </u>

To solve, just simply <u>plug in 145 as X </u>in the equation above. Remember x is time.

It will look like this :

y = 8.77 (145) + 686

Then solve.

y = 1271.65 + 686

y = 1957.65

Reminder: They want the nearest whole number!

Round 1957.65 feet to 1958 feet

A fisherman can row upstream at 4 mph and downstream at 6 mph. He started rowing upstream until he got tired and then rowed down
shepuryov [24]

A fisherman can row upstream at 4 mph and downstream at 6 mph. He started rowing upstream until he got tired and then rowed downstream to his starting point. The distance of how far the fisherman row if the entire trip took 2 hours is  9.6 miles

<u />

The speed of an object refers to the change of the object's distance within a specified time.

Mathematically, we can have;

\mathbf{Speed =\dfrac{distance}{time}}

Distance = speed × time

From the information given;

  • The fisherman row upstream for 4 miles/ hour.
  • The distance covered by the fisherman = 4 × t₁  ----- (1)

  • The fisherman row downstream at 6 miles/ hour
  • The distance covered by the fisherman = 6 × t₂  ------ (2)

  • SInce it took the entire trip 2 hours, we can infer that:

  • t₁ + t₂ = 2
  • t₂ = 2 - t₁

From equation (2), replace the above value of t₂ into equation (2)

  • d = 6 t₂
  • d = 6(2 - t₁)
  • d = 12 - 6t₁

From equation (1)

  • d = 4 t₁

Equation both distance together, we have:

  • 12 - 6t₁ = 4t₁
  • 12 = 4t₁ + 6t₁
  • 12 = 10t₁
  • t₁ = 12/10
  • t₁ = 1.2  hours

From t₂ = 2 - t₁

  • t₂ = 2 - 1.2
  • t₂ = 0.8 hours

From d = 4t₁

Replace t₁ with 1.2 hours

  • d = 4(1.2 hours)
  • d = 4.8 miles

Also, from d = 6t₂

  • d = 6(0.8)
  • d = 4.8 miles

Therefore, we can conclude that the distance of how far the fisherman row if the entire trip took 2 hours is (4.8+4.8) miles = 9.6 miles
