When providing rescue breathing to an apneic patient using a pocket face mask, each breath should be delivered with ________ of
Y_Kistochka [10]

When providing rescue breathing to an apneic patient using a pocket face mask, each breath should be delivered with 6-8 mL/kg of air.

DEFINITION OF APNEIC

Apnea is the medical term for a brief interruption in breathing. Patients with sleep apnea experience brief breathing pauses while they are asleep. Those who have sleep apnea might not even be aware of it. They could wake up gasping for air, and individuals who share a bed with them frequently hear them snore.

A pocket face mask is what?

In order to stop the transmission of potential germs during mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, pocket masks are used in the resuscitation of patients who have stopped breathing or are breathing insufficiently. Positive air pressure is produced using the self-inflating bag, forcing air into the patient's lungs. Another name for a pocket mask is a bag valve mask or Ambu bag.

What five factors affect how much of each nutrient a person needs?
GrogVix [38]
The five factors that affect the type of nutrient a person needs are pregnancy and lactation, illness, gender, age, and growth. Needless to say, women who are pregnant and breastfeeding need more nutrients because they transfer the vitamins and minerals to their babies. The same goes for sick people because their body requires more energy in order to combat their illness. Because men have more body mass compared to women, they need a vitamin that will suffice their needs. As a person grows old, his or her nutritional requirements also change, hence, a vitamin that will address his or her needs is preferable. Lastly, a growing child would need much more vitamins and minerals because he or she is more active and spends a lot of energy.
