(a) 2x + 5x + 4 = 25 <== ur equation
    7x + 4 = 25
    7x = 25 - 4
    7x = 21
     x = 21/7
    x = 3

(b) first piece = 2x....= 2(3) = 6 ft <=
     second piece = 5x....= 5(3) = 15 ft <=

Pleaseee help. Oh yeah this has to be 20 characters soooo
valina [46]

It is more than one I think because it becomes -1 over -12 WITHOUT the -power and then add the power and it becomes positive. Make the power positive and it will become negative making it less than 1.

daser333 [38]

Answer:

8.6 to the nearest tenth.

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the distance formula d =  √ [(y2 - y1)^2 + (x2 - x1)^2] where (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) are the two endpoints.

= √ (4 - -3)^2 + (-3-2)^2

= √(49 + 25)

= 8.60

Given:
jekas [21]

Answer:

we conclude that:

If 4x - 6≠4, then 2x–5≠5 is the contrapositive of a conditional statement if 2x -5=5, then 4x-6=14.

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that the contrapositive of a conditional statement of the form "If p then q" is termed as "If ~q then ~p".

In other words, it is symbolically represented as:

' ~q ~p is the contrapositive of p q '

For example, the contrapositive of "If it is a rainy day, then they suspend the match" is "If they do not suspend the match, then it won't be a rainy day."

Given

p: 2x -5=5

q: 4x-6=14

As the contrapositive of a conditional statement of the form "If p then q" is termed as "If ~q then ~p

Thus, we conclude that:

If 4x - 6≠4, then 2x–5≠5 is the contrapositive of a conditional statement if 2x -5=5, then 4x-6=14.
