3h = 7(\frac{2}{7} -\frac{3}{7}h)-10" alt="3h = 7(\frac{2}{7} -\frac{3}{7}h)-10" align="absmiddle" class="latex-formula">
I've been able to simplify it a good deal but can't figure out how to solve it in the end,... 17 points to you,... thanks,...!

3h = 7(\frac{2}{7} -\frac{3}{7}h)-10\\
Parenthesis Simplification
3h = 2 -3h-10\\
Re-write equation
3h = 2-10-3h\\
Subtract
3h = -8-3h\\
Add 3h to both sides of the equation to take away the "- 3h"
3h+3h = -8-3h+3h
Simplify
6h = -8\\
Divide?
3h = -4\\
Then what?

Thanks for the help,... please answer in full explanation,... Chow!

Your method is correct.

Now,

\implies 3h = -4

Divide both sides with 3

3h \div 3 = -4 \div 3

h = -1.333...

In △ABD, altitude AC¯¯¯¯¯ intersects the right angle of triangle ABD at vertex A. BC=3.1 in. and CD=7.2 in..
vodomira [7]

Answer:

4.72 in.

Step-by-step explanation:

BC = 3.1 in.

CD = 7.2 in.

Altitude of right triangle altitude is given as h = \sqrt{xy}, where:

h = altitude

x = 3.1 in.

y = 7.2 in.

Plug in the values into the formula

h = \sqrt{3.1*7.2}

h = \sqrt{22.32}

h = 4.72 in. (nearest hundred)

what angle is half of its supplement; the measure of one angle is 15 less than half the measurement of its supplement; complemen
Delvig [45]

So one angle is of measurement 130 degree and the other angle is of measurement 50 degree.

<h3>What are angles?</h3>

When two rays are linked at their ends, they create an angle in geometry. The sides or arms of the angle are what are known as these rays.

When two lines meet at a point, an angle is created.

An "angle" is the measurement of the "pening" between these two rays. It is symbolized by the character. The circularity or rotation of an angle is often measured in degrees and radians.

Angles are a common occurrence in daily life.

Angles are used by engineers and architects to create highways, structures, and sports venues.

According to our question-

One angle's measurement is 15 less than its supplement's measurement.

Let's say that the supplement angle is measured in degrees.

So the measurement of the other angle is

And the sum of the measurement of supplementary angles is 180.

Multiplying both sides by 2

Therefore, one angle is 130 degrees in length and the other is 50 degrees.

Which equation could be used to find the total amount earned, T, for working h hours at d dollars per hour?
anastassius [24]

Well, for each h hour you work, you are going to earn d dollars.

Given that we are keeping a constant rate of adding d given the number of hours h, we can say that T is the following:

T = hd

For example, working at 8 dollars per hour will get the following equation:

T = 8h

For every hour you work, you receive another 8. Thus, we are multiplying them together.

The final equation is T = hd.
