Answer:

1. Supercomputers

Supercomputers are very expensive and very fast. They are the most powerful computers we have in the world.

Supercomputers are optimized to execute only a small number of programs. This makes it possible for them to execute these few programs at a very high speed. Due to their inhibiting cost, they are used in high-end places like in scientific research centers. The supercomputer consists of thousands of processors, allowing it to clock in at very high speeds measured by petaflops.

These computer types are also very large in size due to the numerous parts and components involved in their design.

A good example of a supercomputer is Tianhe-2, which is located in the National Supercomputer Center in Guangzhou, China. It features 3.12 million cores, allowing it to run at speeds of 33.86 petaflops.

2. Mainframe Computers

These are large and expensive computers that are capable of supporting thousands of users simultaneously. They are mostly used by governments and large organizations for bulk data processing, critical applications, and transaction processing. They are ranked below supercomputers.

3. Minicomputers

Minicomputers are mid-sized computers. In terms of size and power, they are ranked below mainframes. A minicomputer is a multiprocessing system capable of supporting from 4 to about 200 users simultaneously.

The use of the term minicomputer has diminished since the introduction of microprocessors. These machines are now more commonly called midrange computers.

4. Microcomputers

A microcomputer, also known as a personal computer, is designed to be used by one user at a time. The term microcomputer relates to the microprocessor that is used for the purpose of processing data and instruction codes. These are the most common computer types since they are not very expensive

Which cable would you check if you can't access any web pages?
ozzi

Answer:

If You Can't Access the Web

We'll assume that your Internet was working at an earlier point. If you are setting it up for the first time, the steps listed below were not designed with that purpose in mind. You need to follow the instructions that came with your router or modem.

I've included a series of definitions for the terminology used on this page.

Reboot the Computer

The first step should be rebooting your computer or device to see if that fixes the problem. You'd be surprised how often that simple step resolves issues.

If restarting your computer or device doesn't work, you'll have to check out each potential problem area to see if it restores access.

Check These Areas

The most likely problem areas related to a loss of Internet assess are one or more of the following:

your computer is disconnected from the network (check the network settings;

a proxy has been added to your browser or operating system;

your high-speed modem and/or router needs resetting or is disconnected;

a disconnected network cable (if your computer is wired);

your computer needs to reboot;

your firewall or security software is misconfigured; or

Your software is misconfigured for access to the Internet.

Progress through the suggestions on this page to test alternative solutions. I've presented them in the order I'd likely progress if I were to be assessing the problem and looking for solutions.

ISP Issues

If the issue is with your ISP or (rarely) a regional access issue, the resolution is beyond your control. You'll just have to wait for your ISP or the Internet structure to repair the problem.

       if str == "Q":

           break

       else:

           join = join + " " + str

   return join

print(joinStrings())

Explanation:

Create a function called joinStrings

Initialize join variable to hold the strings that will be combined

Create a while loop that stops when user enters "Q". Otherwise, ask the user for a new string and join it to the join variable with a space

When the loop is done, return the join

Call the function and print the result

Answer:

# Here we are asking the user for a number two times

userInput1 = input("Enter any #: ")

userInput2 = input("Enter any # again: ")

# We compare if userInput1 is greater than userInput2

if(userInput1 > userInput2):

   # Print userInput1 if userInput1 is greather than userInput2

   print("First Number: " + userInput1)

   # Otherwise, print userInput2

else:

   print("Second Number: " + userInput2)

# Initiate a while-loop

while(True):

   # The lines below are from above

   userInput1 = input("\nEnter any #: ")

   userInput2 = input("Enter any # again: ")

   if(userInput1 > userInput2):

       print("First Number: " + userInput1)

   else:

       print("Second Number: " + userInput2)

   # We ask the user whether they would like to stop

   stop = input("\nWould you like to stop? (Yes or No)")

   # Compare the String stop with "Yes"

   if(stop == "Yes"):

       # If true then break

       break

Explanation:

The use of \n is unnecesary, but it skips a line and provides more readability.
