choose three U.S. society core values and discuss whether they impact or are being impacted by the shaping of "cool" for teenage
Galina-37 [17]
Three U.S. society core values : Freedom, Privacy, and Free enterprise.

Freedom is impacted by the shaping of "cool" for teenagers because as new fads and technologies are developed and problems related to them arise, they are followed by laws, rules and values based on those fads and technologies. For example, when too many teenagers began "sagging" their pants because it was "cool", some jurisdictions passed laws against it.

Privacy is impacted by the shaping of "cool" for teenagers as new technologies are developed that create new invasions of that privacy. Case in point, Facebook created far reaching questions on privacy while at the same time being sold as "cool" to teenagers in college.

Free Enterprise is impacting the shaping of "cool" for teenagers as new technologies and fads are developed. Free Enterprise allowed Air Jordans, IPhones, Coca Cola and Levis jeans to exist, and thus market themselves to teenagers as, "cool".

Southern states threaten to nullify the tariff on imports enacted by Congress in 1828 because the tariff caused imports to cost more which hurt Southern states.

Answer: Option B

Explanation:

The tariff that the Congress enacted in the year 1828 on the imports from the English people in the United States caused the imports to cost more to improve the sale of the domestic products and reduce the imports from the European countries.

Since the manufacturers were mostly in the Northern part, the income from the tariff benefited those northern manufacturers only and it had an adverse affect on the Southern states.

Wechsler created a system for making tests relevant for evaluating adult intelligence

Explanation:

Terman, full name: Lewis Madison Terman (1877-1956), was a cognitive psychology professor at Standford University. He is known to develop the Binet test for use in the United States. Although Terman had updated the test quite significantly by making a version that could be used for testing adults, David Welscher(1896-1981) an American psychologist in the 1930s, further expanded the idea and made it increasingly relevant for adults by creating a version that assessed adult intelligence using written tests.
