Answer:

Each element has a different amount of protons. Neutrons are responsible for combining with protons in the nucleus together to be held by the strong force. Too many neutrons in an atom will result in radioactive decay due to the neutrons' force overpowering the strong force. Electrons are the weirdest particles.

The complete combustion of 1.00 kg of coal releases about 3.0 x 10E7 J of energy. The conversion of 1.00 kg of mass into energy
zalisa [80]

Answer: 0.001 metric tonnes

Explanation:

According to Einstein equation, Energy and mass are inter convertible.

E=mc^2

E=  Energy

m = mass

c= speed of light

Given : Complete combustion of 1.00 kg of coal releases about 3.0\times 10^7 J of energy.

Given mass: 1 kg

Converting kg to metric ton using the conversion factor:

1 kg=0.001 metric tonnes

Thus 1 kg of coal would also be equal to 0.001 metric tonnes.

5 Facts about Geology
Bingel [31]
1-There are 18 volcanoes in the US with the potential to erupt again, all of them in Alaska, Hawaii and the West Coast states.

2-Rubies and sapphires are actually the same mineral - corundum. The basic chemical formula of corundum is Al2O3, but traces of iron stain the mineral red (ruby) while traces of chromium or titanium stain the mineral blue (sapphire).

3-Rubies, sapphires and emeralds are all more rare than diamonds.

4-Not all diamonds are transparent. They come in a variety of colors (called "fancies"), including yellow, green, blue, orange, brown ("champagne"), purple, grey, black (called carbanado, recently shown to be meteroic), milky white, pink, and red. Red is by far the rarest.

5-Antacids taste like chalk because they ARE chalk, a.k.a. calcium carbonate.

Why is a bush or tree a more accurate then a line to describe how hominds developed into modern humans
Morgarella [4.7K]

The human “family tree” may be better described as a “family bush,” within which it is impossible to connect a full chronological series of species, leading to Homo sapiens, that experts can agree upon.
