As you can see in the picture, this is 6-8-10 right triangle.

One of angles is 90° so you can find others

$\tan( \alpha ) = \frac{opp}{adj}$

8/6 = 4/3

6/8= 3/4

tan-1(4/3) = 36.9 °

tan-1(3/4) = 53.1 °

tan<R= 53.1 °

Example :
2/4....." / " is not just a fraction bar, it is a division sign.
simple type in 2 divided by 4 in ur calculator.....it comes up 0.5
