First of all, you have to rank the numbers from the lowest to the hightest. I let you to do it.

There are 10 numbers.

So, 0.25*10 = 2.5.

In that case, the 1st quartile would be the third number "17".

Its slope is (difference in 'y') / (difference in 'x')

Dif in 'y' = (6 - 8) = 2
