Answer:

Cryogenic distillation

Explanation:

Cryogenic Distillation is the process in which Nitrogen and Oxygen are separated from air. Thus in cryogenic distillations the components having very low boiling points are distilled selectively at low temperatures. This method produces products of high purity but also it is quite energy intensive.

Phosphorus pentachloride reacts with water to give phosphoric acid and hydrogen chloride according to the following equation:
Anarel [89]

Answer: 52.4 grams

Explanation:

The two reactants PCl5 and H2O, must occur in a 1:4 ratio, so that tells us, that we need 4 times more H₂O than phosphorus pentachloride.

0.287 moles PCl5 multiplied by 4 equal 1.15 moles H2O. That tell sus that 1.15 moles H2O is needed.

Because we have 3.84 moles H2O, the PCL5 is the limiting reactant.

0.287 mol PCl₅ x (5 mol HCl divided by 1 mol  of PCl₅) x ( 36.5g HCl divided by moles of HCl) = 52.4 g of HCl is formed

(Hopefully this helps!)

Explain difference in appearance between a pure substance and a mixture.
Nata [24]

A pure substance is a substance which cannot be separated physically or chemically. It is the same wherever found on earth. For example, pure gold is a pure substance. It will be the same whether it is found where you live or on another country. A mixture can be either homogeneous or heterogeneous. A homogeneous mixture is a mixture that looks the same throughout but is made of more than one element. An example of this would be salt and water mixture.  A heterogeneous mixture is a mixture in which you can easily identify the different parts which make it up. An example of this would be pizza. Both these mixtures can be broken into different parts either physically or chemically.

Hope it helps :)
