Step-by-step explanation:

Solve by substitution (Assumption)

Given:

[1] y = 6x - 11

[2] -2x-3y = -7

Using [1] substitute  (6x-11) for y in [2]

[3] -2x-18x+33=-7

Simplifying

[4] 20x=40

[5] x = 2

Using [5] substitute 4 for x in [1]

[6] y= 12 - 11

[7] y = 1

Solution is (x,y)=(2,1)

Find the asymptotes of the function. Select all that apply.
devlian [24]

An asymptote is a vertical horizontal or oblique line to which the graph of a function progressively approaches without ever touching it.

To answer this question we observe the graph. All the values of x and y must be identified for which the graph of the function tends to infinity.

It is observed that these values are:

x = -1

x = 3

y = 0

The first two corresponds to the equations of a vertical line. The third corresponds to horizontal line, the axis of x. It can be seen that although the graph of the function is very close to these values, it never "touches" them

Tree C is the proper tree. The first game has the possibility of a win, a loss, or a tie which the first row represents. The second game could also win, lose or tie, meaning each result would have each possibilty for that game.

So to solve this first you need to convert all the answers to decimals.
Site B 17/9 = 1.89 when you round up
Site D 4/3 = .75
Then look at all the numbers least to greatest.
D .75 m C 1.36 m A 1.60 m B 1.89 m

we want a ratio of orange seashells and pink seashells to be 3:7. we should use 40 seashells.how many orange shells should we pa
dybincka [34]
Add the ratios together: 3+7=10. The ratio means that there are 3/10×40=12 orange seashells and 7/10×40=28 pink seashells.
