GUYSS HELPP!! I already did the sketching so help me graph the units for distance and time! 1st photo: Pusheen ran out of her fr

ont door, then slipped and fell. She got up and walked the rest of the way to the catnip patch down the block. 2nd photo: Terrence cycled rapidly down the hill that starts at his house. He then slowed down as he climbed up the other side towards the candy store.

Step-by-step explanation:

what you drew (so, you must have the numbers already, otherwise, how did you draw the graphs ?) :

Pusheen ran one unit of distance for one unit of time.

that is from the origin (0, 0) to (1, 1).

then she fell, stayed stationary and needed one unit of time to get back up. point (2, 1).

from there she walked for 3 units of time one more unit of distance - to point (5, 2)

Terrence cycled first for 2 units of time 2 units of distance.

that is from the origin (0, 0) to (2, 2).

then he cycled uphill for 2 more units of time one more unit of distance to point (4, 3).

I am not sure what was the problem (again, after you drew the graphs already). I hope this helps you in some way.

A merchant is selling wind chimes from booth at a flea market he rents his space for $125 per day The Profit from each wind chim
nexus9112 [7]
We're down 125*5 (for 5 days), so we subtract that to start it off. Next, he gets 12 dollars per every wind chime, and we can write every wind chime sold as x to get -625+12x. Next, we need that to equal 3500, so we get -625+12x=3500. Adding 650 to both sides, we get 4125=12x. After that, we divide both sides by 12 to get 4125/12=x

Solve y: 6.3 = 0.9y

Solve x: x + 7.72 = 19

What is y? What is x?
Ulleksa [173]
Solve y: 6.3 = 0.9y
6.3/0.9 = 0.9y/09
y = 7

Solve x: x + 7.72 = 19
x + 7.72-7.72 = 19 - 7.72
x = 11.28

What is y? 7 What is x? 11.28

Use the zero product property to find the solitions to the equation(x+2)(x+3)=12.
kykrilka [37]

Answer:

(x + 2) (x + 3) = x² + 3x + 2x + 6 = 12 (multiply the binomials)

(x + 2) (x + 3) = x² + 5x + 6 = 12

(x + 2) (x + 3) = x² + 5x + 6-12 = 0 (add the like term and bring the positive 12 to the other side which makes it negative)

x² + 5x + 6 = 0

Using the snowflake method - (finding the factors of 6 that adds/subtracts to give you 5).

This method will give you the factors (x + 6)(x - 1)

ZERO PROPERTY RULE:

(x + 6) = 0

x = -6

(x - 1) = 0

x = 1

The two solutions to the equation are -6 and 1.
