Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

A)

d = r* t         Divide both sides by t

d/t = r

r = d/ t

B)

d = 800000

t = 4 hours

r = 800000 / 4

r = 200000 meters/hour

C

r = 200000 meters / hour * [ 1 km / 1000 meters]

r = 200 km / hr

D

I imagine you are more familiar (especially if you live anywhere but the states) with 200 km/ hour. I am very doubtful that any bird can keep that up for 4 hours. 200 km / hour is equal to about 125 miles / hour. There are few places that will allow a car to travel at that speed. You should be using km/hour because you (should) be more familiar with the units.

So when you factor this the answer would be (1w - 3)(5w + 1) because since 5 is an odd number you have to break it up with us only factores then you find the GCF for 3 and then you have to find the signs that when you multiply them it gives you - 14

Express the following numbers as a product of their prime factors
24
Please show working
Studentka2010 [4]

Answer:

2 x 2 x 2 x 3

Step-by-step explanation:

Find two numbers that multiply together to form 24:

2 x 12 = 24

Find two numbers that multiply together to form 12, a factor of 24. Replace 12 with these numbers:

2 x (2 x 6) = 2 x 12 = 24

Find two numbers that multiply together to form 6, a factor of 12. Replace 6 with these numbers:

2 x (2 x (2 x 3)) = 2 x (2x6) = 2 x 12 = 24

Two and three cannot be factored any further, therefore the prime factors of 24 are 2, 2, 2, and 3.
