Answer:

X= 43

y=120

Step-by-step explanation:

3x + 8 + X = 180

4x = 180 - 8

X = 43

2y +17+X = 180

2y + 17 + 43 = 180

y = 180 - 60

= 120

In a hypothetical economy, current inflation-adjusted economic output is rising and is expected to continue rising in the coming
gizmo_the_mogwai [7]

The economic output is rising and is expected to continue rising in the coming months, the economy is currently in the expansion stage of the business cycle.

The business cycle consists of the following stages which changes with time;

  • Expansion stage: continuous rise in economic output.
  • Peak stage: maximum economic output.
  • Contraction (recession) stage: a continuous decline in economic output.
  • Trough stage: the point of lowest economic output.

Thus, when the economic output is rising and is expected to continue rising in the coming months, the economy is currently in the expansion stage of the business cycle.

Zakir buys five $1,000, 13-week T-bills at 5.1%. a) What is the amount of the discount? b) What will Zakir pay for these T-bills
tresset_1 [31]
A) The amount of the discount is the interest due, $63.75.
  I = Prt
  I = 5000*0.051*13/52
  I = 63.75

b) Zakir will pay the discounted price, $5000 -63.75 = $4936.25

c) The effective rate is r/(1 -rt) = 5.1%/(1 -0.051*13/52) ≈ 5.17%

How to solve shaded regions on a trapezoid is simple.
First find the area of the whole trapezoid, or W but it already gives us that as 21.66 in squared.
Next, find the area of the non shaded region, or NS.
3.8*4.6=17.48 in
Lastly, subtract the NS from the W.
21.66 -17.48 =
NS= 17.48 in squared.
W= 21.66 in squared.
S= 4.18 in squared.

The answer is B- 4.18 in Squared
