The answer is D I think
Given the 2 equations
2x + 5y = 21 → (1)
x + y = 3 → (2)
Rearrange (2) expressing y in terms of x, by subtracting x from both sides
y = 3 - x ← Substitute into (1)
2x + 5(3 - x) = 21 ← distribute and simplify left side
2x + 15 - 5x = 21
- 3x + 15 = 21 ( subtract 15 from both sides )
- 3x = 6 ( divide both sides by - 3 x = - 2 → D
X=-2

The answer is 100X because if you do 5x-4x first it will be 1x. Later on, if you do the exponent you have 1x times 1x. Then you do 1x+9x = 10x

Then you do 10x times 10x because of the exponent is telling you how times you do it and it equals to 100x.

Answer= 100x

You deposit $700 in an account paying 7.7% simple interest. Find the future value of the investment after 2 years. (Enter a numb
Luda [366]

Answer: The future value of the investment after 2 years is $807.8

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for simple interest is expressed as

I = PRT/100

Where

P represents the principal or amount invested.

R represents interest rate

T represents time in years

I = interest after t years

From the information given

T = 2 years

P = $700

R = 7.7%

Therefore

I = (700 × 7.7 × 2)/100

I = 10780/100

I = 107.8

The total amount in the account after 2 years would be

700 + 107.8 = $807.8
